We are so proud to be celebrating Just Jewellery's 19th anniversary next weekend.

June 2,3,4 we are having a three day sale, up to 30% off almost everything in the shop.

Above are a few shots from our latest location of 10 years now!

Just Jewellery started out 25 years ago when Joanne and her then husband Steven opened an antique store on White Rock beach. Joanne following her love of jewellery began selling small amounts in a section of the White Rock Antique Mall that she and Steven ran.

A few years of that and Joanne decided to open her own business with Just Jewellery, no antiques. It was in telling a customer this that our shop's name was born, she asked "so is that the name?" and so it was!

We have been through three other locations the very first one was uptown White Rock where the Bosa towers now are. That space was 3 years until the building was to be torn down for development and we had to move. I could not find any photos from back then so you all have to imagine it.

After the White Rock location we moved to a space across from Peninsula Village and beside Pure Pharmacy there we resided for 5 years, enduring 2 break ins, one from a truck driving through the wall and another a tunneling in.

We had to sleep in the shop for 6 weeks with our big dogs while waiting for the rear wall to the shop to be fixed!

We managed to purchase our current unit in 2011 and proceeded to build our current location.

This one has steel in the walls, double security gates and bollards so no vehicles can drive in! Joanne did all the designing of this location, even ensuring a plug was put into the middle of the shop so our giant dao crystal lamp could be at the heart.

Now it lights the shop and is a beacon for all crystal lovers.

We tried a shop in Vancouver April 2015-September 2019.

The location was on Main Street and had a vibrant bustling energy, eventually the drive to the city daily was a bit much for us so we decided to focus on our main hub in South Surrey.

It was great making new customers and friends in the city and we are happy many continue to make the pilgrimage out to us here in the "mother ship".

Well I’m a little late getting these rings and pendants to the site for March but I figure better late than never. Wednesday March 23 at 4pm I will be adding aquamarine rings to the site. Pendants Thursday March 24 at 4pm. Watch our instagram and facebook feeds for sneak peeks.

We sure are enjoying the longer days, that means more time for photos in the daylight!

The first time I met “Momo” of Mercurious designs I was a mere 17 travelling to the Tucson gem show for my first time with Mom and a good friend from high school to help her shop for the store and see the sights. I remember meeting him and his buddies at their booth and recall him asking us in his English accent ”you girls are so white! you must be Canadian! do you tan by moonlight?”

Over the years we have become close friends, sailing in Bali on a pirate ship with his family and adventuring in Europe. We are proud to carry Momo's art and look forward to sharing a few of his unique designs with you all.

Excerpt from Momo's website:

"Mercurious Designs Sterling Silver collections have a rock 'n roll hardcore carefree attitude. They are an eclectic blend of contemporary and tribal styles, somehow bold and timeless. Mercurious Designs is the warped brain child of Momo, a native Londoner, who has been refining his craft for over 20 years. He developed a passion for gemstones while exploring caves as a teenager, discovering underground caverns full of crystals, and he went on to study as a silversmith at college. He now has his studio in Bali, Indonesia where all his designs are hand-crafted. His creations are typified by unusual gemstones designed with an ancestral tribal touch welded to a post-industrial future. They are heavily influenced by natural forms and textures, inspired by mineral formations, the underwater world and wildlife. Mercurious gets its name, strangely enough, from Mercury, the planet that rules communication, and the Messenger of the Gods (aka Hermes). Mercury is also known as Quicksilver, the liquid metal that looks like molten silver."
